That was on the old time movies last night. Jeff loves Cagney.
I didn't pay much attention to it myself - finagling with my new toy here (Dell).
Cagney movies are usually good stories, but I'm not all that sweet on the actor himself. Guess it's the character roles he plays - I just hate that gangster talkin' thing, I guess. I'm not saying he isn't a good actor - he certainly is. The part where he cracks up at the supper table in prison after he hears his mother died was stellar.

That was James Cagney's trademark so to speak. But he did play other roles such as Yankee Doodle Dandy a musical which he won an oscar for and Come Fill My Cup where he portrayed an alcoholic newspaper reporter. Also Captains In The Clouds set during ww 2 with Humfrey Bogart.
